Rolex Datejust 36mm with Roman numerals -1960 Rolex Explorer 1 1016 Glossy Gilt Dial

Case: Very Good case that has previously been polished and has some wear from use. The watch comes with the non-hacking movement. The reference and serial are very faint but can be read with a loop. The caseback is stamped: IV.60 Brown Horween Shell Cordovan leather strap.

Excellent glossy gilt dial with creamy yellow markers. The hands have aged to be a few shades lighter than the dial. The dial has very light wear from age. The gilt print and chapter ring are sharp. The luminous material on the markers and hands still glows briefly when put under a bright light.
